This is not the first time that English clubs have posted something on their social media pages to wish Indians. Several other English clubs wish Indians on their festivals like Diwali, Christmas, Dussera etc.

Few months back Tottenham had posted something similar with Dele Alli in a video wishing Indian students for their board exams.

Rio Olympics 2016 formally begins today with a gorgeous and grand opening ceremony organised at the iconic Maracana stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The 31st Olympic games will see a total of 207 nations are participating this time. India has the biggest Olympic contingent with 120 athletes being sent this time by the Indian Olympic Association.

This is also the biggest contingent ever sent by India. In London 2012, India had 83 members. The 120 member team was led by flag bearer and the only individual gold medal winner in history of the country Abhinav Bindra.
