Glasgow, Aug 3: India ended the 20th Commonwealth Games 2014 in Glasgow with 64 medals. They finished at fifth position. The Games concluded on Sunday. England topped the standings with 174 medals (58 Gold, 59 Silver, 57 Bronze).

On the final day (August 3), India won one gold and two silver. P Kashyap gave India the gold by winning the men's singles in badminton. Indian men's hockey team lost the final to Australia 0-4 to settle for silver and in badminton women's doubles Jwala Gutta and Ashwini Ponnappa took silver after losing the final.

In CWG 2010 at New Delhi, India won a record 101 medals (38 Gold, 27 Silver, 36 Bronze). They were second in the medals' standings. Shooter Gagan Narang was the only multi-medallist from India at this edition, winning two medals (silver and bronze).
