Ignored for the 30-man World Cup squad, Yuvraj is answering his critics with the bat. Playing for Punjab in his 3rd match of the Ranji Trophy season, Yuvraj scored a century today against Saurashtra at the Saurashtra Cricket Association (SCA) Stadium. He now has over 500 runs in 3 matches.

Yuvraj, who was 95 not out overnight, completed his 3rd ton of the season early in the morning. He was dismissed for superb 182 (299 balls, 23x4, 2x6). This was his 23rd first-class hundred.

The 33-year-old started the 2014-15 first-class season with 130 against Haryana and followed that up with 136 versus Maharashtra.

After the World Cup snub, Yuvraj was also left out of the BCCI contracted players' list.
