Suresh Raina to Mushfiqur Rahim: 'Don't celebrate before you win'

With 11 required off the final over bowled by Hardik Pandya, Bangladesh lost 3 wickets in the last 3 deliveries to hand the hosts a memorable 1-run triumph. (WT20 schedule)

Rahim had hit Pandya for 2 successive fours, off the 2nd and 3rd ball of the 20th over. When he scooped the ball past wicketkeeper and captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni for his 2nd boundary, Rahim celebrated as if they had won. But still they needed 2 off 3 balls.

Then came the twist in the tale. Rahim went for a big hit, trying to finish the game off in style. He was caught by Shikhar Dhawan in the outfield. The next ball, Mahmuddulah too fell in same fashion, trying for a boundary. (Dhoni loses cool at scribe)

Off the final ball, Dhoni ran Mustafizur Rahman out to hand India an epic victory in front of nearly 40,000 people.

After the match, Raina took to his Twitter account to criticise Rahim's premature celebrations.

"Don't give up till the end Don't celebrate before you win! #IndvsBan Wat a game," Raina wrote referring to Rahim's celebrations.

India will face Australia in their final league game on Sunday (March 27). It is also a must-win match to qualify for the semi-finals. So far, India have won 2 and lost 1.
