India make it 3-0 against Bangladesh in T20 World Cup

Bengaluru, March 23: India snatched a spectacular 1-run victory over Bangladesh in their T20 World Cup match at the Chinnaswamy Stadium here on Wednesday to maintain their clean record against the Asian rivals in T20 cricket. [Match report; ]

India now have a 3-0 record against Bangladesh in T20 World Cup and 5-0 record overall in T20 cricket. They beat Bangladesh in the 2009 and 2012 editions of the T20 World Cup. Mahendra Singh Dhoni, who effected two stumpings and the run-out in the final delivery of the match, have led India to all five wins versus Bangladesh in T20 so far.

With this loss, Bangladesh bowed out of the tournament with no win from three matches. They have now one match against group toppers New Zealand.

India, on the other hand, made a comeback to the tournament and went second in the table after the Kiwis who have a cent per cent record so far. Their final group match is against Australia at Mohali on March 27 (Sunday).
