WC T20: Now, Amitabh accused of singing National Anthem wrongly

New Delhi, March 21: It seems megastar Amitabh Bachchan's tryst with controversy over his singing the National Anthem before the start of the India-Pakistan match in the ongoing T20 World Cup at the Eden Gardens is unending.

After the controversy that the actor had charged a whopping amount for lending his voice, two complaints were lodged against Bachchan alleging that he sang the anthem wrongly and also took more time in finishing off the singing.

While one complaint was filed at the Ashok Nagar Police Station here alleging that the actor sang the National Anthem wrongly, another complaint was reportedly filed by one Ulhas PR at Juhu Police Station in Mumbai saying the megastar had sung the Anthem wrongly even during the Pro-Kabaddi League.

Amitabh took 30 seconds more to finish his singing!

It also said that Bachchan took 1 minute and 22 seconds to complete the National Anthem while the norm is 52 seconds.

It was said Amitabh had taken 30 seconds more to finish his singing



Earlier, there were reports that Bachchan had charged Rs 4 crore as his appearance fee during the match bur Cricket Association of Bengal president and former India captain Sourav Ganguly refuted them saying the former did not charge a single paise for his performance. He also said that Bachchan had instead paid Rs 30 lakh of his own for his travel and stay in Kolkata. [Amitabh didn't charge a single penny, says CAB]
