India Vs Bangladesh: Google puts doodle

Doodle is intended to celebrate holidays, events, achievements and people.

The current doodle was unveiled ahead of the crucial second Quarter Final game at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) which features two bowlers, two fielders and two batsmen clad in their respective national colours. (10 facts about the match)

However, Google has only changed its home pages in Indian subcontinent, the rest of the world will only see the normal Google logo.

Earlier, on Feb 15, the internet giant had put up a similar doodle when arch-rivals India and Pakistan clashed with each other in their opening match of the World Cup 2015.

India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat against Bangladesh MCG on Thursday.

India have gone in with an unchanged squad. The innings of Men In Blue has been a topsy-turvy one.
