At the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on Friday, 31-year-old De Villiers scored the fastest ever 150 and second fastest World Cup ton, against West Indies in a Pool B match. As a result of De Villiers' sensational innings, South Africa amassed 408/5 in 50 overs. Last month, De Villiers hit the fastest ODI ton, in 31 balls. Entire West Indies team could not surpass De Villiers score as they were bowled out for 151, losing by a heavy 257-run margin.
