Bengaluru, Feb 12: International Cricket Council (ICC) hosts 50-over format's biggest tournament - World Cup every four years and only two days are left for the 11th edition of World Cup to get kickstart in Australia and New Zealand.

Here are the list of wicketkeepers with most number of dismissals in the World Cup history

1. Adam Gilchrist (Australaia) with 45 catches and 7 stumpings, a total of 52 dismissals in 31 matches.

2. Kumar Sangakkara (Sri Lanka) with 36 catches and 10 stumpings, a total of 46 dismissals in 30 matches.

3. Brendon McCullum (New Zealand) with 30 catches and 2 stumpings, a total of 32 dismissals in 25 matches.

4. Mark Boucher (South Africa) with 31 catches in 25 matches.

5. Moin Khan (Pakistan) with 23 catches and 7 stumpings, a total of 30 dismissals in 20 matches.

6. Alec Stewart (England) with 21 catches and 2 stumpings, a total of 23 dismissals in 25 matches.

7. Ridley Jacobs (West Indies) with 21 catches and 1 stumpings, a total of 22 dismissals in 11 matches.
