WC 2015: Zimbabwe squad announced, Elton Chigumbura to captain

Harare, Jan 8: Zimbabwe on Wednesday (January 7) announced their 15-men squad for the ICC World Cup to be held in Australia and New Zealand in February and March. The side will be captained by 28-year-old Elton Chigumbura who was also the skipper of the Zimbabwean side in 2011. [See full EC 2015 schedule]

Zimbabwe's batting will revolve around Hamilton Masakadza, who will be playing in his first World Cup despite making the international debut 14 years ago, Brendan Taylor, Craig Ervice, Sean Williams and Sikander Raza. [India's WC squad announced]

The bowling department will be led by pacers Tinashe Pangyangara, Tendai Chatara, Twanda Mupariwa and spinners Tafadzwa Kamungozi, Stuart Matsikenyeri and Raza who is also an off-break bowler.
