Lahore, Jan 7: Pakistan on Wednesday announced their 15-men squad for the ICC Cricket World Cup starting next month in Australia and New Zealand. Misbah-ul-Haq will captain the side which will begin its campaign against arch-rivals India in a Pool B clash in Adelaide on February 15. []

Thirty-year-old fast bowler Sohail Khan, who played his last one-day international in Zimbabwe in 2011, was picked besides batsman Shoaib Maqsood and pacers Junaid Khan and Ehsan Adil. The last three players were not part of the squad that toured New Zealand last month because of injuries but have now recovered. [India's 15-men squad announced]
Anwar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Nasir Jamshed, Sohail Tanvir and Zulfiqar Babar, who played in New Zealand were overlooked for the quadrennial tournament. [Bangladesh announce WC squad]
Umar Gul and Bilawal Bhatti who were withdrawn from the New Zealand series because of injury were not picked in the World Cup squad.
