The world cup quiz [to play the game, visit quiz.cricketworldcup.com] has a bank of over 1,000 questions and covers all the 10 editions of the tournament held between 1975 and 2011. The questions cover every team that has participated in the tournament held over the years. [Indian squad for 2015 WC announced]
The quiz has two game types, namely, the Super Over and Power Play. In the first type, the player has to answer six questions and try to score as many runs while in the second mode, the player gets 30 questions. Correct answering fetches runs and the fast one answers, the more he or she scores.
The maximum number of runs that one can score off a single question is Six which means there is every opportunity to touch Hershelle Gibbs' record of hitting six sixes in an over.
The participants can also reach higher levels in the game and win badges depending on their performance. They can share the results with friends on social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter.
The second mode named Power Play will be launched on January 20 and it will also give fans the opportunity to win exclusive ICC World Cup 2015 Merchandise.
