London, July 24: Worcestershire batsman Ross Whiteley did a Yuvraj Singh as he smashed six sixes in an over during an English Twenty20 match at Headingly on Sunday (July 23).
Whiteley, the left-handed batsman, was batting against Yorkshire when he went for full a monty in the 16th over of the innings during Natwest T20 Blast.
He struck left-arm spinner Karl Carver for six sixes -- a total of 36 runs -- in the T20 match refreshing the memories of cricket fans with India left-handed batsman Yuvraj Singh's hitting a decade ago.
Chasing a duanting target of 234, the southpaw scored 65 off 26 deliveries, including that 36-run over, as his side ended up scoring 196/7 and lost the match by 37 runs.
Earlier, Yorkshire's David Willey, the England all-rounder, slammed a career best 118, that included 34 runs off one over from Australia paceman John Hastings, to propel his team to 233/6.

With a 55-ball assault Willey broke several records. He hammered hit nine fours and eight sixes in his innings.
However, the match will be best remembered for Whiteley's exploits despite it ended in a losing cause.
Sheffield-born Whiteley, thus became only the sixth man to hit achieve the feat in world cricket. Lancashire's Jordan Clark had done the same against Yorkshire in 2013.
Whiteley was quoted by ESPNCricinfo as saying, "It was the right time in the game for me to go for it. It was all or nothing. Unfortunately for the bowler it was a short boundary on the leg-side.
"I had the mentality that I was going to go for it before I got in. I hit the first out of the screws and needed to keep going for the team, not for that achievement. It's something I never really thought I'd do in professional cricket.
"Personal milestone are great, but it's hard to get away from the defeat. It's pretty tough to take. We've lost four out of five and are right down at the bottom. Obviously we have to bounce back. There's no reason why we can't."
