Who said what on MS Dhoni's Test retirement

Bangalore, Dec 30: Present and former cricketers today saluted MS Dhoni for his achievements in Test cricket following his retirement from the five-day game.

Former India captain and batting legend Sachin Tendulkar led the tributes for Dhoni. The 33-year-old Dhoni surprised all by announcing his retirement from Test cricket after the 3rd India-Australia Test in Melbourne.

In a statement, Tendulkar said, "Seems like the other day that MSD debuted in Test cricket. After nine wonderful years, he says goodbye. He has several achievements both in front and behind the stumps but leading India to the No. 1 Test side would be the highlight of his Test career. I wish him the very best for the defence of the World Cup in 2015."

Dhoni ended his Test journey with 90 caps and led India in 60 matches. He took India to the number one spot in ICC Test rankings. He scored 24 not out in his final innings at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG).
