But former India cricketer Virender Sehwag took to Twitter to troll the Saurashtra all-rounder when he received the prize money.
Sehwag trolled Jadeja for receiving Rs 1 lakh in his Paytm account at a time when people are struggling to withdraw cash from their bank account following Central Government's demonetisation drive.
The Nawab of Najafgarh asked Jadeja to lend him some money.
"Wah Jaddu Bhai ! Hamare paas toh 2000 ke chhutte nahi hai aur aap @Paytm mein 1 Lakh le gaye. Thoda hamare Paytm mein bhi transfer kijiye," wrote Sehwag.

The left-handed Jadeja hit a career-best 90 in the 1st innings and picked up 4 wickets. India took a 2-0 lead in the five-match rubber. Chasing 103, India cruised to victory for the loss of 2 wickets on the 4th day on Tuesday (Nov 29).
(I will be careful if I reach 90 again, says Ravindra Jadeja)
After collecting his Man-of-the-match award, Jadeja was asked about his big shot which brought about his downfall at the score of 90. He said he would be careful next time if he reaches 90 in a Test match.
Jadeja, on 90, went for a big shot off Rashid and was caught by Chris Woakes at long-on.
