New Delhi, June 19: Seems two of India's most talked about batsmen, Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, have a lot in common. Both the cricketers give a lot of credit for their success to their fathers.
Team India's Test skipper and former India captain Sachin Tendulkar on Sunday (June 19) remembered their respective fathers on Father's Day.
Both the cricketers tweeted images of their childhood along with their fathers to show their respects towards their fathers who are no more alive.
Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar tweeted image of his with his father late Ramesh Tendulkar while Virat Kohli shared his childhood picture with his late father.
Kohli lost his father at an early age. On the death of his father Kohli showed great character as he went on to play the game for his team and scored valuable 90 odd runs.
Kohli tweeted the image along with an emotional message.
While Sachin, on the other hand, lost his father while he was playing 1999 World Cup in England. After his return from his father's funeral, Sachin went on to slam a ton.
Ramesh Tendulkar was a poet and always garnered his words of wisdom for his son who became the most loved and celebrated Indian cricketer of his generation.
Sachin shared some of the few advices from his father during his farewell speech. He even documented it in his autobiography and upcoming documentary.
