Sharjah, Nov 3: Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir on Tuesday (Nov 2) was dismissed in the most comical fashion ever in the history of the game during day 4 of 3rd Test match against West Indies, here.
Match Scorecard
Assuming his shot would go for six, Amir didn't go for runs but it was fielded spectacularly by Roston chase at long on.
Chase first saved a certain six with his brilliant presence of mind, and then threw it towards the stumps to effect a hilarious dismissal.
Realising he won't get any run off his shot, Amir hurried to complete a single, but the left-hander couldn't make it to the crease at the non-striker's end.
The careless approach from the batsmen, good work in the deep from the fielder and the batsman's (Amir) failure to ground the bat, all this reflected in the single delivery which perhaps would be remembered as one of the most hilarious run out in the game.
