New Delhi, Sept 2: Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag is still hailed as India's most explosive opener in modern day cricket. His opening partnership with 'Master Blaster' Sachin Tendulkar has been revered as India's most lethal combination till date.
In 93 innings they opened together, Sachin-Sehwag together aggregated 3,919 runs in ODI cricket. The duo put up a 100-plus stand on 12 occasions.
One of the biggest reasons for their success as an opening pair is the fact that the duo complemented each other in every aspects of the game. Their running between the wickets and ability to sneak runs was unparalleled.
Throughout his opening combination with Sachin, Viru always preferred taking the strike.
But on Friday, the Nawab of Najafgarh took to Twitter to reveal against whom he prefers being at non-strikers end. And that person is none other than his wife Aarti.
"With wife be like u r at non-striker end. Let her do the talking & run when you need to #mybestpartner, #ViruKaGyaan," tweeted Sehwag.
Sehwag was married to Aarti Ahlawat, who also hails from Delhi, in 2004.
