Virat Kohli reveals his life's 'best partnership'

New Delhi, Sept 6: India Test skipper Virat Kohli greeted his coach Rajkumar Sharma on the occasion of Teachers' Day (Sept 5) in a very special manner by calling relationship with latter as the 'best partnership' of his life.

The Delhi dasher, who is India's leading run scorer in the year 2016, met his childhood coach and shared beautiful message on his Instagram handle.

"Happy teachers day to the best teacher in the whole world. Thank you raj kumar sir for giving me the lessons that have helped me go ahead in life. We have gone through ups and downs together but here we stand, stronger than ever before. Nothing could have been possible without you. The best partnership of my life. Thank you sir. You are amazing," wrote Kohli on his instagram account and also shared an image with him.

Rajkumar Sharma was on August 29 conferred with the prestigious Dronacharya Award by the President of India for his contribution towards sports.

Kohli, during his childhood days trained under Sharma's watch and often credits his coach for his success. Sharma has been Kohli's coach since the latter was 10-years-old.

"Congratulations Raj Kumar Sir. All the hard work behind the bigger picture never gets noticed. I am delighted for you on getting the Dronacharya Award," Kohli tweeted earlier.

The 51-year-old Rajkumar Sharma's name has been sent to the Dronacharya awards committee on a number of occasions but he only got lucky this time.
