Indore made its Test debut and India won the match by a mammoth 321 runs on Tuesday (October 11) to complete a 3-0 whitewash.

The 27-year-old cricketer took to his Twitter handle to inform fans that he's heading home to enjoy home made food and get unconditional love from his pet dog.

Here is what Kohli wrote on Twitter

Kohli is a fitness freak and maintains a strict diet regime. The Indian 'Run Machine' avoids eating oily, carbohydrate-rich food. He breaks his rules only for the food cooked by his mother and the Delhi boy loves eating oily food only prepared by his mom's hands.

In the third Test at Indore, Kohli slammed his second Test double hundred and became first ever Indian skipper to smash two double tons.

Kohli-led Team India also gave a perfect Dussehra gift to the nation as it became No. 1 in ICC Test Rankings by defeating New Zealand in the series.

Kohli is now headed for Dharamshala to play first of the five ODI matches against New Zealand, starting October 16 (Sunday).
