Video: When Virat Kohli asked fans to chant for India, not for him

New Delhi, Mar 25: This news will prove why cricketer Virat Kohli is not only a great batsman but a true patriot too. In Wednesday's T20 World Cup match against Bangladesh, Kohli proved that he loves his country very much.

Reportedly, cricket fans were cheering by repeatedly calling his name in the thrilling India-Bangladesh match at Bangalore stadium. When Virat who was fielding at boundry heard it, he asked them to cheer for India instead.

A video of the whole incident has been shared by one of the fans of Kohli.

Earlier, India survived a mighty scare before pulling off an incredible 1-run victory over Bangladesh in a nerve-wracking low-scoring thriller to keep their semi-final hopes alive in the ICC World T20.

Defending a modest 146, India looked down and out for the better part of the match before pulling their acts together in the final two overs to restrict Bangladesh to 145 for 9.
