Mirpur (Bangladesh), June 18: Bangladesh fans were angry with India captain MS Dhoni as he shoved one of the hosts' fast bowlers away resulting in him going off the field injured during the opening One Day International of the 3-match series here. (Dhoni speaks on this 'typical street clash')

The incident took place during India's batting innings in the 25th over when Dhoni elbowed debutant left-arm seamer Mustafizur Rahman after the latter had deliberately come in the captain's way while taking a run. Rahman overcame this blow to cap off a dream debut with 5/50 in 9.2 overs. Thanks to his outstanding bowling, Bangladesh stunned India by 79 runs.

Following this, Raham had to go off the field injured after bowling just 2 balls in the over. Dhoni appeared to be initially not happy with the bowler coming in his path and later spoke to local umpire Enamul Haque and fielders and then there was smile on the skipper's face.

However, the local fans did not like Dhoni's behaviour and took to Twitter to express their anger. For the 19-year-old Rahman, it was not the first during the match that he had decided to upset a batsman. Earlier, opener Rohit Sharma gave him a mouthful when he came in his path while taking a run.

Raham, who went off the field after bowing 6.2 overs, returned to take 3 more wickets and finish with a 5-wicket haul, only the second Bangladeshi to do so on debut.

When these two teams had met in a ODI last time before today, there was controversy over a no-ball call at ICC World Cup 2015 quarter-final in Australia.

Rahman will learn as he plays more international cricket. This was clearly his fault today at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium. But not sure was Dhoni right in his action.
