This West Indian player slept with more women than international runs he scored

New Delhi, April 21: It's all West Indies in the year 2016. After three teams from the Caribbeans made the headlines this year for winning the World Cup, it's time for individuals to steal the limelight.

While Chris Gayle's first child who he named 'Blush' drew a big attention, former West Indian fast bowler Tino Best has confessed in his upcoming autobiography "Mind the Windows: My Story" that he had slept with between 500 and 650 women while touring the world as a member of the Caribbean cricket team.

It means Best, who has played international cricket between 2003 and 2014, has dealt with more women than runs he has scored at the highest stage [401 in 25 Tests, 76 in 26 one-day internationals and 17 in six T20 internationals].

Best, who finished with 57 Test wickets and 34 one-day wickets, confessed that life wasn't the same for him after his "first love" Melissa, with who he also had a daughter named Tamani, left him. He said he became a playboy after that, something he even put it across as a "man whore".

In one section of the book, Best, 34, talks about his looks, women and sexual competitions with his teammates in the West Indies team.

A few excerpts from his book:

"I love girls - and girls love me. I reckon I'm the best-looking bald-headed guy in the world. I joke about being the black Brad Pitt!

"Everywhere I went as a cricketer, I'd talk to girls, date girls and sleep with girls. I reckon I've slept with anywhere between 500 and 650 girls, all around the world.

"I had a beautiful baby called 'Tamani' with my first love Melissa but things went bad with us. The lads had told me that, once I took wickets for Barbados, she'd come running back for me.

"I had done just that but she hadn't. When she called it a day, I became a bit of a playboy. Put it this way: I was a man whore.

"If I liked a girl, I'd go and talk to them - whoever it was. If I'd seen Beyonce and she was single, I'd have gone and introduced myself: 'Hello, my name's Tino. What's yours?' No girl intimidated me."
