Binny was introduced into the attack by captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni in the 11th over but failed to live up to the expectations of his skipper.

Thanks to some very powerfull hitting, Evin Lewis came very close to equalling Yuvraj Singh's 6 sixes in an over in a T20 game.

Left-handed Lewis smashed 5 sixes in a row off Indian paceman but his attempt for the 6th ended with just a single.

Mayanti, who is a popular anchor/journalist with a sports channel, became the latest victim of social media bullying after her husband performed badly during the game.

Some insensitive fans called her a "gold-digger" and used offensive words against the couple on social media platform.

Breaking her silence, Mayanti on Thursday (September 1) hit back at the bullies and silenced them.

This is what Mayanti had to say:

Senior cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle immediately came out in support of his fellow presenter and slammed one such fan for his derogatory remarks.

Indian fans, in the past, targeted Test captain Virat Kohli's girlfriend and actress Anushka Sharma on several occasions when the cricketer failed on the field.
