Rohit smashed a 66-ball 106 (12x4, 5x6) at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium on Friday night (October 2). This is also India's highest individual score in T20Is.
The 28-year-old Rohit, with this knock, became only the 2nd Indian batsman to register a three-figure mark in T20Is. The first was Raina (101) against the same opposition in 2010.
Now, both the 28-year-olds - Rohit and Raina are India's only centurions across all 3 formats (Test, One Day International and T20I).
Raina has 1 Test, 5 ODI and 1 T20I centuries while Rohit has 2 Test, 7 ODI and 1 T20I hundreds. Rohit, the right-hander from Mumbai, also holds the world record for he highest ODI score - 264.
