1st Test Day 2 statistics: Virat Kohli joins Sir Len Hutton, Bobby Simpson in elite group

India captain Virat Kohli hit his maiden double century and Ravichandran Ashwin registered his 3rd Test ton to put the team in control. India declared at 558/8 and the home team was 33/1 at stumps.
