Mauka that never came! Star Sports was ready with the Mauka ad had Team India defeated Aus

New Delhi, Apr 6: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor was part of the Mauka-Mauka ad that never got a chance to be aired by Star Sports because Team India lost semi-final match to Australia in the World Cup 2015. The broadcasters were ready with another hillarious Mauka ad had MS Dhoni & Co defeated Clarke's boys to storm into World Cup final.

The Mauka-Mauka ad that was never aired

The video doing the rounds in social media shows Ranbir Kapoor asking millions of Indian cricket fans to cheer for the Men In Blue for final battle against New Zealand. Unfortunately, hopes of millions of fans were dashed after Team India's exit from the tournament.

The video is of poor quality but is worth watching.

Australia defeated India by 95 runs in the second semi-final at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) on March 26. This result brought joy to some of the fans in the neighbouring countries.

Earlier, India's semi-final exit gave an "opportunity" to Pakistan and Bangladesh fans to make fun of the team and its cricket board with phones ringing at BCCI headquarters and "mauka mauka" singing. Unable to bear this, phone lines were disconnected by BCCI.
