Bengaluru, Sep 17: India's Twenty20 International and One Day International teams for South Africa series will be announced on Sunday (September 20), the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has said.
South Africa will arrive in India later this month to play 3 T20Is, 5 ODIs and 4 Tests. BCCI's selection committee, led by Sandeep Patil, will meet in Bengaluru on Sunday to pick the T20I and ODI sides. MS Dhoni, the current captain of the limited overs teams is expected to continue.
"The meeting of the All-India Senior Selection Committee of the BCCI will be held on Sunday, the 20th of September 2015, at 12 PM at Hotel JW Marriot (UB City), Bengaluru, to select the Indian teams for the upcoming T20 Internationals (three matches) and One Day Internationals (Five matches) against South Africa," a media release from BCCI said on Wednesday night (September 16).
"The committee will also select the Board President's XI team to play the only T20 practice match against South Africa at Palam Cricket Ground, Delhi on 29th September 2015," it added.
After the selection meeting, Patil and BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur will address the media, BCCI said.
