Shane Warne posted a video clip on his Facebook post after day three of Test match between Australia and South Africa at Hobbart.
Former Australia captain Mark Taylor was driving the van. He was accompanied by former wicketkeeper Ian Healy at the front-seat, both of whom were wearing seatbelts.
Another former Australian skipper Michael Slater too wasn't sporting the seatbelt. All the cricketers were part of the commentators' panel for the second Test match between Australia and South Africa.
In the 4-minute video clip Warne and others soon realised their folly and put on the seatbelts. But the police have decided to penalise the cricketers for violating trafic rules.
Here's the Facebook post:
As per a Telegraph report, the Tasmanian police on Tuesday (Nov 22) confirmed they had issued an infringement notice to the trio.
"The infringements for failing to wear a seatbelt were issued after police reviewed a video posted on one of the men's Facebook page," police said in a brief statement.
