Mohali, Nov 5: Rohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Stuart Binny have been released by the Indian Test team to play in the Ranji Trophy for their respective sides, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) said today.
Rohit, Bhuvneshwar and Stuart were part of the 1st Test squad. However, they were not picked on Thursday to play against South Africa at the PCA Stadium in Mohali. India captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first. The trio will rejoin the Test squad before the next match in Bengaluru (November 14). (Buy tickets for Bengaluru Test)
