Ranji Trophy: Himachal Pradesh bowled out for just 36 runs; 15 wickets tumble on Day 2

Guwahati, Oct 28: Hyderabad bundled Himachal Pradesh out for a meagre 36 runs in their first innings in a Group C Ranji Trophy match at the Barsapara Stadium here on Friday (October 28).

As many as 15 wickets fell on Day Two as Hyderabad seamers M. Ravi Kiran and Chama Milind ran through the top order of Himachal Pradesh before leg-spinner Akash Bhandari scalped four wickets to demolish the tail-enders.

Anirudh (44) was at the crease at stumps on the second day.

In another Group C match, D. Siva Kumar's five-wicket haul helped Andhra Pradesh to gain a 150-run first-innings lead over Haryana at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

After bowling Haryana out for 103, Andhra took their lead to 245, with Hanuma Vihari and K.R. Sreekanth putting on 61-run stand for the third wicket.

In a match between Goa and Tripura, Goa took a vital first-innings lead as opener Swapnil Asnodkar scored 57 and forged 71-run partnership for the third wicket with Snehal Kauthankar to move their team to a strong 137/2.

Tripura struck back, snatching six Goa wickets for 83 runs to hold a clear edge at stumps on Day Two in Bhubaneswar.

Tripura left-arm spinner Gurinder Singh took three wickets while seamers Manisankar Murasingh and Bunti Roy took two wickets each.
