Rajkot, Nov 9: India's master of trolls, Virender Sehwag, praised England's star batsman Joe Root but in his unique style, on Wednesday (Nov 9), on first day of the opening Test here.

This time Sehwag came up with a hilarious pun in the commentary box when Joe Root started building his innings after coming in to bat first.
The 25-year-old middle order batsman, who plays for Yorkshire, is hailed as one of the modern day greats.
Aware of Root's batting exploits, Sehwag, who has revolutionised Hindi commentary with his witty oneliners, said Indian bowlers needed to get former's wicket at the earliest.
Once Root got his eyes set, the Nawab of Najafgarh said, "Is Root ki sabi liney vyast hain."

Sehwag has developed a knack of giving his unique twists with his funny Tweets and witty oneliners while doing commentary.
Living up to his reputation and displaying his customary elegance, Root slammed his 11 Test ton and first in India. In the company of Moeen Ali, Root (124) helped the visitors stage an impressive recovery as England posted 311/4 at stumps in 93 overs.
Thanks to the pair of Root-Ali and their unbroken century stand the tourists, who lost captain Alastair Cook his debutant opening partner Haseeb Hameed and Ben Dockett before lunch, the tourists held the upper hand in the opening skirmish of the five-game rubber.
