PHOTOS: Indian bowlers demolish West Indies batting on Day 3

North Sound (Antigua), July 24: After batsmen dazzled on day 2, Indian bowlers dominated West Indies batsmen on the third day to put visitors in the driver's seat in the first Test on Saturday (July 23).

Pacers Umesh Yadav and Mohammad Shami claimed an impressive four-wicket haul each to put India on top at stumps at the Sir Vivian Richards stadium here.

West Indies after their overnight score of 31 for one on Friday (July 22), were bundled out for 243 in the first innings, thanks to Umesh (4-41), Shami (4-66) and Amit Mishra (2-43). India posted a mammoth first innings total of 566 for eight declared.

India captain Virat Kohli asked the West Indies side to bat first as the hosts couldn't avoid follow-on. Ishant Sharma provided India breakthrough in the second innings after he struck in the very first over to remove Kraigg Braithwaitte.
