Team India's ICC World Cup 2015 journey ended yesterday. As long as it lasted, it was very good. MS Dhoni and his men were invincible till they ran into Australia and exited in the semi-final at Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).

India's World Cup campaign began on February 15 and culminated on March 26. Between this, they won 7 matches in a row and lost 1 to go home as a semi-finalist.

Pakistan (won by 76 runs), South Africa (won by 130 runs), United Arab Emirates (won by 9 wickets), West Indies (won by 4 wickets), Ireland (won by 8 wickets) and Zimbabwe (won by 6 wickets) were conquered in the league phase wit ease.

In the quarter-final, India got the better of Bangladesh by 109 runs. But their winning streak was cut short by Australia in the last-four clash (lost by 95 runs).
