Pandya took to his Twitter handle to announce his single status and even appealed to the rumourmongers to 'end this rumour'.

New Delhi, Feb 14: Young India all-rounder Hardik Pandya made a big revealtion over social media on the occasion of Valentine's Day on Tuesday (February 14).

The 23-year-old cricketer took to his Twitter handle to announce his single status and even appealed to the rumourmongers to 'end this rumour'.

The Mumbai Indians' cricketer's name was linked up with prominent Kolkata model Lisha Sharma after she posted a selfie with Pandya on her Instagram account, last year. The image was later deleted by Lisha.

Ever since that day, Pandya's name was often associated with his rumoured girlfriend.

Putting all speculations to rest, the Baroda all-rounder posted an image on micro-blogging site which carried the message that he's single and focussing on his game since a long time.

The cricketer said every now and then the news of his link up surfaces on social media which undermines his hard work.

"Just wanted to clear Once for all, I have been single and focussing on my game since a long time! Again and again this rumour or the picture comes out! It doesn't justify the hard work we do! I would really appreciate to end this rumour! And let's end it for all. Thank you, Love all, Hardik," said Hardik on his Twitter handle.

Pandya performed well against limited overs series against New Zealand and England. Good show against New Zealand earned him maiden Test call-up during series against England.

Pandya endured a tough time following the World T20 at home. The fast bowling all-rounder had a forgettable IPL post the world event, costing him a place in the Indian team for the tour of Zimbabwe.

The performance on the A tour helped him return to the Indian team. He made his ODI debut in the New Zealand series and impressed all during England limited overs' series.
