The unique challenge was organised at Lord's cricket ground. The challenge was set up by Sky Sports in the presence of an official from the Guinness World Records.
The 48-year-old cricketer-turned-commentator had to catch a ball from a height of at least 100 feet in three legal attempts.
The former right-handed batter set world record after the ball was dropped from a drone from a height of 49 meters (160 feet and 9.1 inches).
Nasser Hussain set the record when he caught the ball, dropped from a drone (BatCam), from a height of 49 meters (160 feet and 9.1 inches).
Hussain missed the catch in the first attempt, but took the catch in the second chance.
Hussain has played 96 Tests and 88 One Day Internationals for England.
