Pune, Feb 23: India's wicketkeeper Wriddhiman Saha turned out to be a "Superman" as he pulled off a stunning catch during the 1st day of the 1st Test against Australia here today (February 23).

Saha left the players, fans, commentators speechless with his sensational effort on the field on Thursday at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium.
Umesh Yadav bowled an outswinger in the 82nd over and number 9 batsman Steve O'Keefe went hard at it. The outside edge flew past the stumps and in a jiffy Saha flung to his right and took an outstanding catch, one-handed.

Captain Virat Kohli, who was standing at first slip, could not believe his eyes. He immediately congratulated and hugged Saha for that superb effort.
On TV commentary, India's former spinner L Sivaramakrishnan called it a "sensational catch".
O'Keefe was the 8th wicket to fall for Australia at the score of 205. They ended the day at 256/9 in 94 overs. Earlier, captain Steve Smith had won the toss and chosen to bat. Matt Renshaw topscored for the visitors with 68 while the next best came from Mitchell Starc with 57 not out.
Umesh Yadav was the most successful bowler for the hosts with figures of 4/32 on a turning track. Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja took 2 wickets each while Jayant Yadav had one scalp.
