"Kohli drives, through the covers and it is into the fence like a tracer bullet."

There is a new challenge thrown at cricketers by former India all-rounder turned commentator Ravi Shastri.

Known for his cliched lines during cricket commentary, Shastri's one of the famous usages is "tracer bullet" when a batsman hits a shot and he describes the ball going to the boundary like a "tracer bullet".

Now, Shastri has challenged his TV commentary colleagues in the ongoing India-England 2nd Test in Visakhapatnam to do it better than him, using the term "tracer bullet".

"Kohli drives, through the covers and it is into the fence like a tracer bullet," Shastri says in a video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on their Twitter page.

"This is the hashtag #TracerBulletChallenge. You heard me say over the microphone over the years. Let us see how my colleagues do it," Shastri added throwing the challenge to his colleagues.

Under the hashtag "TracerBulletChallenge", commentators Sunil Gavaskar, Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain, Aakash Chopra, Ian Botham, Laxman Sivaramakrishnan, Deep Dasgupta, Kapil Dev, Sanjay Manjrekar have given their version of describing a shot using "tracer bullet".

Also, legends Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid and VVS Laxman too are seen in a video accepting the challenge. And Test captain Virat Kohli too joined in. Some of the fans too posted their videos on the micro-blogging website Twitter.
