Kolkata, May 25: Defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK), Mumbai Indians lifted the IPL cup for the second time. MI beat the CSK by 41 runs in the final of the IPL 2015 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday, May 24.

The entire team-led by Rohit Sharma, the Ambanis, the owner of MI, and mentor of the team -- Sachin Tendulkar, coach -- Ricky Ponting will reach Mumbai on Monday evening.

The team will celebrate their victory at Wankhede Stadium, which is their home ground. A Mumbai Indians official was quoted as saying, "The entire team, support staff and everyone in Mumbai Indians is converging at the Wankhede Stadium at 8 pm."

"The idea is to bring back the Cup and acknowledge the support Mumbai Indians has received from the city and the fans here. The entire team is reaching Mumbai by 4.30 to 5 pm," the official added.
