MS Dhoni travels in train after 13 years, shares selfie with Jharkhand teammates

The 35-year-old legendary Indian cricketer posted an image on his Instagram account with his Jharkhand teammates who were travelling for their opening match against Karnataka on February 25 at the Eden Gardens stadium.

Dhoni who is the richest cricketer in the country, after cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, impressed fans with his humble gesture.

He could have easily travelled in a flight or drove his Hummer all the way to Kolkata, but the veteran cricketer preferred travelling with his teammates in AC 1st-Tier from Hatia to Howarh.

"I am travelling in a train after 13 years. It is a long route and I will enjoy it. I'll talk to my teammates and enjoy," Dhoni was quoted as saying.

Before playing for India, Dhoni worked at Kolkata's Howrah Railway Station as a ticket collector. Thus, his relation with Indian Railways is pretty old.

Jharkhand will play their second match against Chattisgarh at the same venue on February 26. The team's third match is in Kaylani, Bengal.

Dhoni was recently sacked as the captain of his Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) ahead of the IPL 2017 season.
