Team India would have to make major adjustments if Dhoni misses the opening game against hosts Bangladesh. Parthiv Patel has already been called as the wicket-keeper batsman's replacement. Although, Patel is an opener and Dhoni is a matchfinisher.
"MS is a pillar for us in the middle-order. If Parthiv comes in, we will have to make plans for the batting order," Dhoni's deputy Kohli was quoted as saying.

However, Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza opined India has a strong batting line-up hence team won't miss him badly.
"Dhoni has been a tremendous player but with the batting order that they have they will not miss him so much."
