New Delhi, Sep 11: Former Australian batsman David Boon feels India's limited overs' skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni still is the best finishers in the world and it's difficult to write him off at any stage.
When asked if MS Dhoni's finishing skill, of late, has been declining the former Australia batsman disagreed.
Boon was quoted by India Today as saying, "It's very dangerous to write MS Dhoni off. He is a wonderful player and been an exceptional captain for India. He is one of the best finishers in the world I have seen. It's difficult to write him off at any stage."
Boon also opined that Dhoni is the best judge of his future.
"I am sure like many others over the years, Dhoni will know when his time is up. He deserves to go when he wants to, that's my personal opinion. He will know when to go and will make the right decision," he added.
Boon also said that 'Run Machine' Virat Kohli is one of the best in the business today.
"Virat is an aggressive batsman. The key for him is he can deliver in tough situations for the team and in all conditions. He scores across formats and can get runs overseas; a fantastic player," said Boon, who scored 7,222 runs in 107 Tests while playing for Australia in 1980s and 90s.
Boon is in India with a delegation from Tasmania which is in the country to promote tourism in the Australian state.
