Message: All World Cup matches 'fixed'; South Africa will 'win' title, India 'semi-finalists'

Bengaluru, Feb 21: A message on WhatsApp smartphone messenger, has gone viral, which says all 49 matches of ICC World Cup 2015 matches are "fixed". And to everyone's shock, the results predicted in the message have come true!

With the title "World Cup 2015 fixed winners!", the message is doing the rounds. According to it, South Africa will "win" the World Cup this year beating co-hosts Australia in the final. The Proteas have never won the 50-over cricket's biggest trophy.

It says India will reach the semi-final but lose to Australia while South Africa will beat Sri Lanka in the other last-four game. The predicted 8 quarter-finalists are - New Zealand, India, Australia, Zimbabwe, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

About tomorrow's (February 22) India-South Africa clash, it is "victory" for the Proteas at Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Till Friday (February 20), all 9 winners from the message are right, including the shock victory of Ireland over West Indies.

This could just be a coincidence. Whether the rest of the predictions come true are not, we have to wait and watch.
