World Cup Day 3: Ireland stun West Indies in Nelson

Nelson (New Zealand), Feb 16: Ireland stunned two-time champions West Indies by 4 wickets in their opening Pool B match of ICC World Cup 2015 here at Saxton Oval on Monday.

Thanks to Simmons' century and Darren Sammy's equally impressive 89 off 67, West Indies posted 304/7 in 50 overs. Ireland won with 25 balls to spare. Paul Stirling was the top scorer with 92. (India 6, Pakistan 0)
