KPL 2017: Mysuru Warriors' Talent Hunt on July 29, 30

Mysuru, July 27: Karnataka Premier League (KPL) team Mysuru Warriors today (July 27) announced their 4th edition of "Talent Hunt" in Mysuru and Bengaluru on July 29 (Saturday) at SDNR Stadium Gangotri Glades and Just Cricket Academy respectively.

The shortlisted players will play "Open Net" on July 30 (Sunday) at PET Cricket Ground, PES College Campus, Mandya, the francise said in a media release on Thursday.

"The talent hunt is specially organised for Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) registered talents from KSCA registered clubs in entire Karnataka, as a lot of potential lies in the state when it comes to Cricket," it added.

The Warriors further stated, "The talent hunt aims to foster fresh cricketing talent and subsequently coach and nurture them. This initiative of Mysuru Warriors is an opportunity for players to enter the professional cricketing arena. The selected players will get a chance to represent Mysuru Warriors and play at the upcoming KPL 2017."

"The Talent Hunt begins at 8.00 am and players from registered club under KSCA will compete in the selection process. The players are advised to carry with them their KSCA statistics of last two years and their kits. The ball will be provided," Warriors said.

KPL 2017 will be played in Bengaluru, Mysuru and Hubballi from September 1.
