New Delhi, Apr 5: As fans are gearing up for the ninth edition of cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL), which is going witness debut of two new franchises, Team India's limited overs skipper MS Dhoni is also preparing to come into action.
MS Dhoni, who is going to lead the newly launched Rising Pune Supergiants, has shared the image of his first practice with his new team on his Facebook page.
MS Dhoni shared the image with a caption, "In the practice session with my new IPL team."
Since its inception, Dhoni has led Chennai Super Kings (CSK), IPL's most popular franchise, which is facing 2-years ban from the Supreme Court of India. Dhoni was appointed the skipper of RSP in January, 2016.
The other four key players picked by RSP were Ajinkya Rahane, R Ashwin, Steven Smith and Faf du Plessis.
South African all-rounder Albie Morkel will be playing Rising Pune Supergiants for the first time. He had earlier played with MS Dhoni for Chennai Super Kings.
