Attending the match between Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant, Tendulkar was greeted by thousands of fans gathered here to watch the Maharashtra Derby.
Sachin is the mentor of his IPL franchise Mumbai Indians ever since retiring from the game.
The crowd chanted 'Sachin-Sachin' as the iconic India cricketer was shown on the giant screen. The Mumbai Indians fans even sang 'happy birthday' song for their favourite cricketer.

Former Australia cricketer Matthew Hayden, who is here in the country as the commentator in the IPL, interviewed the former India captain in the dug out.
He was alongside Tendulkar as the legendary cricketer cut the cake in front of thousands of crowd.
Earlier, Tendulkar was flooded with congratulatory messages from the cricketing fraternity across the globe on his birthday.
Tendulkar amassed 34,357 runs in his 24-year career. In ODIs, he has scored 18,426 while in Tests he has 15,921 runs to his credit.
After his retirement in 2013, Tendulkar received the Bharat Ratna award and became a Rajya Sabha member. He also played in the Indian Premier League but stopped after the sixth season.
