Bengaluru, April 14: Virat Kohli will be back to lead Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in today's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 match against Mumbai Indians (MI) here.

Kohli has completely recovered from his shoulder injury declared that he is excited to play his first game in almost a month. (Match preview)

Virat Kohli is excited to play again

The 28-year-old trained at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Thursday and was at his best while batting, hitting some big shots.

Kohli had sustained an injury to his right shoulder while fielding during India-Australia Test match in Ranchi last month.

It is a big boost for RCB to have their skipper back. With his return, the team combination will be different for today's game.

Explosive West Indian opener Chris Gayle is likely to miss out again as Kohli is set to open the innings.

So far RCB have won 1 and lost 2. In Kohli's absence, Australian all-rounder Shane Watson had led the side.

For the clash against MI, RCB are likely to pick AB de Villiers, Watson, Tymal Mills and Billy Stanlake as their 4 overseas plaeyrs.
