Mohali, April 30: Kings XI Punjab outclassed a struggling Delhi Daredevils in every department to register a thumping win by 10 wickets in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Sunday (April 30).
Chasing a target of just 68 runs to win, Punjab achieved it in barely 7.5 overs with a quickfire half-century by New Zealand star Martin Guptill.
Guptill remained unbeaten on 50 off 27 balls with six boundaries and three sixes. Hashim Amla was not out on 16 at the other end.
Earlier, pacer Sandeep Sharma produced a brilliant four-for as Punjab bowled Delhi Daredevils out to 67 after their skipper Glenn Maxwell opted to chase.
Other Punjab bowlers too performed exceptionally well as Delhi batting line-up surrendered before them and were dismissed to their lowest total ever in the IPL.
