IPL 2017: Final list of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) squad after Players Auction

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will go into IPL 2017 with the least number of players among all 8 teams. They have 23 players.

Bengaluru, Feb 20: Among all 8 teams, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have the least number of players for this year's Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017.

KKR have chosen to restrict their squad to 23 when the maximum limit allotted is 27. At today's (February 20) auction here, they spent Rs 5 crore on New Zealand left-arm paceman Trent Boult. They bought 9 players. (Final list of players sold)

KKR will also miss the services of their star all-rounder Andre Russell (West Indies), who was recently banned for 1 year for a doping offence.

24. Colin de Grandhomme (New Zealand) - replacement for Russell (banned for doping offence)

Note: As per IPL rules, a franchise can have a maximum of 27 players in the squad with 9 overseas cricketers
